Guideline for Teachers
This poem which is included in Education in the Neon Shadow may seem funny to us today, but try to imagine Nevada schools fifty or even 100 years ago. Do teachers have it harder today?

Hi Judi, yes that is true. However, it has only been fifty years since the Clark County School District was founded, thus the fifty year reference. The book does cover education in the Vegas Valley all the way back to 1906, but the bulk of the material is the last fifty years. Carolyn
